Benita taught thirty-one years in Clay County Schools. Since retiring in 2011 she volunteers with NC Farm Bureau Federation and enjoys four perfect grandchildren.

Lauren Tiger is a Physical Therapist at Chatuge Regional Hospital. She also represents the 5th generation of Tigers working in Tiger’s Store and Chinquapins.

Zoning Administrator
April England is excited to serve our town as Zoning Administrator. She worked in non-profit development, government and community relations, and public engagement in Wilmington, NC before moving to Hayesville. In her free time, April enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband and two kids.
